Dubai Set to Attract Over Dh25 Billion in Wealth as Millionaire Influx Surges in 2025

Dubai is expected to welcome a major influx of wealth in 2025. More than 7,100 new millionaires are predicted to move to the city, bringing over Dh25 billion (US$7 billion) in fresh capital.
This move marks a shift from short-term stays to long-term investment and residency. According to a recent report from Betterhomes, wealthy individuals no longer see Dubai as just a luxurious stopover. Instead, they are choosing it as a permanent home.
Why Are Millionaires Choosing Dubai?
Dubai offers a unique mix of benefits that are hard to match:
- Strong safety and security
- Tax-friendly laws
- World-class infrastructure
- Global connectivity
In a time of rising taxes and political risks in many countries, Dubai stands out as a safe and profitable place to live and invest.
A Record Year Ahead
In 2024, the UAE already welcomed 6,700 new millionaires. If just 5% of the 142,000 millionaires expected to move globally in 2025 choose Dubai, the impact could be massive. It would boost not only the economy but also the social and business landscape of the city.
Louis Harding, CEO of Betterhomes, shared his thoughts:
“We are seeing capital not just arrive in Dubai, but commit to it. What’s unfolding is a shift from speculation to permanence—high-value properties, legacy investments, and long-term vision.”
What Does This Mean for Dubai?
This surge in high-net-worth individuals could rival nearly half of Dubai’s foreign direct investment from the previous year. It shows the growing trust in Dubai’s economy and stability. Dubai is no longer just a dream destination—it is becoming a permanent hub for global wealth.
